Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi (NBO), our representative will transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to adjust to the time zone and prepare for your upcoming African adventure. Nairobi offers a vibrant atmosphere with a range of accommodation options and top-notch dining experiences influenced by British culture. Enjoy your stay at Tamarind Tree Hotel. Meal Plan: Breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi City ExcursionDay 2: Nairobi City Excursion
Embark on a thrilling day trip starting at 06.00hrs AM with pick-up from your hotel, heading to Nairobi National Park for a 4-hour game viewing drive. Experience the majesty of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, and giraffes against the city skyline backdrop. Later, visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to witness orphaned baby elephants and rhinos in rehabilitation. Afterward, enjoy lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens followed by a visit to the Giraffe Center for an up-close encounter with Rothschild giraffes. Conclude the day at Kazuri pearl factory, supporting local artisans. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at Tamarind Tree Hotel with breakfast included.

Day 3: Nairobi – Samburu National ReserveDay 3: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, depart the hotel and journey north to Samburu National Reserve in a 4×4 safari vehicle. Enjoy lunch upon arrival at Samburu Simba Lodge, followed by leisure time to explore the lodge's amenities. Later in the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating game drive amidst a stunning landscape with Ol Olokwe Mountain as a picturesque backdrop. Spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and unique bird species like the Somali ostrich. Afterward, enjoy a mid-morning game drive to further discover the beauty of the reserve and spot its inhabitants. In the afternoon, embark on another thrilling game drive, observing the mesmerizing scenery and searching for iconic African wildlife. After breakfast, we head to The Ark Lodge in Aberdare for lunch. Situated in Aberdare National Park, The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, attracting diverse wildlife. Resembling Noah’s Ark, it offers three decks with balconies for optimal wildlife viewing. A night guard ensures guests don’t miss special animal sightings. The lodge also provides a ground-level bunker for photographers. Experience close wildlife encounters in this unique setting. Overnight stay with meals included.

Day 6: Aberdare National Park – Lake Nakuru National ParkDay 6: Aberdare National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, we head to Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment along the way. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Known for its stunning lakeland scenery and exceptional birdlife, with over 450 species recorded, the park is also famous for its dense rhino population. After breakfast, depart and drive southwest in a 4×4 pop-up roof safari vehicle to Masai Mara National Game Reserve. Check in and enjoy lunch at Mara Serena Game Lodge, situated at the heart of the renowned ‘Mara Triangle’. Positioned on a bush-cloaked hill, the lodge offers panoramic views over the savannah and the hippo-filled Mara River. Experience multiple afternoon game drives in this captivating area, renowned for its diverse wildlife including the iconic "Big Five" - elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo, alongside cheetahs, crocodiles, and spectacular birds of prey. Day 8: Experience MaraDay 8: Experience Mara
Opt for an optional hot air balloon ride with a bush breakfast for an additional $530 per person. Enjoy full game drives over two days in Mara, an extension of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park, famous for the Great Annual Wildebeest Migration, dubbed one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World”. Witness the astonishing sight of over 1.5 million wildebeest and 300,000 zebras along with other grazers moving through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in search of grass and water from July to September. After an early breakfast at the Lodge, check-out and head to Lake Naivasha, arriving just in time for lunch. Marvel at the scenic beauty of the large freshwater lake, surrounded by grassy banks and olive trees. Embark on a boat cruise, keeping an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and buffalo. Use your binoculars to spot lovebirds, ibis, and the majestic African fish eagle. Disembark at Crescent Island, a serene wildlife sanctuary nestled in the middle of the lake, and enjoy a guided stroll in search of wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes. After breakfast, check out and depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoying game viewing en-route to Amboseli Serena Lodge where lunch will be served. Nestled against the stunning backdrop of Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, the lodge offers breathtaking views. Amboseli, meaning “salty dust” in Maasai, boasts a unique contrast with its dry appearance and abundant water sources sourced from Mount Kilimanjaro's snowmelt. Day 11: Experience Amboseli National ParkDay 11: Experience Amboseli National Park
Spend a full day immersed in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Rise at dawn to witness the golden plains of Amboseli illuminated by the sun, when lions embark on their hunts. Marvel at the majestic presence of elephants, including the older "tuskers," against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Spot herds of zebra, wildebeest, Cape Buffalo, hippo, eland, giraffe, and cheetah roaming the park. Every turn offers a new wildlife surprise. Return to Amboseli Serena Lodge for the night. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 12: Amboseli – Nairobi – DepartDay 12: Amboseli – Nairobi – Depart
After a very early morning game drive, indulge in a hearty full breakfast. Then, we journey back to Nairobi and head to Carnivore Restaurant for lunch (at traveler’s expense), where meats are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a charcoal pit. The rustic atmosphere combines rural charm with a medieval banquet hall ambiance, offering a unique dining experience. Following dinner, we'll transfer you to the airport for your homeward-bound flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast.
